BloemGuard (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a waterproofing, roof restoration and painting contractor operating in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa, and an approved SealPro applicator. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through bloemguard.co.za (the “Website”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Website you accept this policy.

Information you give us. When you request a quote, phone us, WhatsApp us or complete a form on the Website, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, physical address, suburb and a description of the work you need. We use these to prepare quotes and deliver our services.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the Website secure and to understand how it is used.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, schedule inspections, prepare and deliver quotes, carry out and administer the work you contract us for, and communicate with you about your project. We may also use your contact details to follow up on an enquiry or, with your consent, to tell you about services that may interest you.

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to deliver our services: with our own team scheduling and performing the work; with service providers that support the Website and our administration (such as hosting and email providers); with SealPro Coatings where manufacturer support or system specification for your project requires it; and where the law requires disclosure.

We take reasonable, appropriate measures to protect the personal information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, but we maintain our safeguards in line with applicable law. We keep project and enquiry records only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as the law requires.

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to direct marketing. Our services are not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
